This evidence-based training will provide an easy-to-understand guide to Crisis Response Planning. During the training you’ll gain foundational knowledge in how to better assess a person’s risk for suicide, how to understand what leads them to consider suicide, and how to help them develop a plan to stay safe during a future crisis.

What is involved in the training?

This training will guide you through four content modules designed to give you the foundational knowledge to engage in crisis response planning. Those modules are:

  • Crisis Response Planning: What it is and what it isn’t.
  • Understanding Suicide
  • The Narrative Suicide Assessment
  • Creating the Crisis Response Plan

In addition, you’ll be able to watch video demonstrations of the techniques and approaches discussed during the training.
